About
A senior-only practice, deliberately small.
Gateway Delivery Partners was founded on a narrow bet: that an organization stuck between the tooling it has bought and the delivery model it still runs needs one experienced person with real accountability far more than it needs a team of six with a methodology.
Matt House
Matt House has spent nearly 20 years leading delivery on large, contested programs in aerospace, finance, and healthcare — in roles spanning RTE/PMO Lead at Boeing and Engineering Director at Maritz.
The through-line is unglamorous: delivery organizations where the process on paper had stopped describing the work being done, and nobody had said so out loud. Enough of them to have formed strong views about what actually moves the needle, and about how much of standard program management is theatre performed for an audience that has stopped believing it.
That gap is structural, and it widens. New tooling and new ways of working arrive in months; the delivery model around them — how work is sized, how commitments are made, what a metric is supposed to prove — moves in years, if at all. That distance is where this practice works.
He founded Gateway Delivery Partners in 2026 to do that work directly, without the staffing model that makes most consultancies quietly reluctant to finish.
How the practice is built
The commercial model is a consequence of the delivery model, not the other way round.
| Who does the work | The person you meet first. There is no bench, no pyramid, and no substitution partway through an engagement. |
| Capacity | Two active engagements at a time. Being full is a real constraint we will tell you about rather than work around. |
| Published pricing | The assessment is $12,500 and an iteration is $35,000, both fixed. Printing them is the same promise as the rest of the work: the decision to proceed should be a decision, not a negotiation. |
| Independence | No reseller agreements, referral fees, or implementation partnerships with any software vendor or systems integrator. When we assess what you have bought, nothing is riding on the answer except being right. |
| Specialist network | Where an engagement needs depth we do not have — a particular platform, a regulatory regime — we bring in a named associate and tell you exactly who and why. |
| Every engagement ends | Six weeks, one problem, a named owner on your side. If we cannot describe how it finishes, we will not begin it. |
Why St. Louis
Because that is where we live, and because being local to a client is worth more in this kind of work than it is in most. Six weeks is not long enough to lose a fortnight to scheduling — the work needs a room, a whiteboard, and someone who can be there tomorrow rather than next sprint.
The practice serves clients across the Midwest and further afield, on site where it changes the outcome and remote where it does not. But the home base is real, and it is here.
The mark is two catenary arches, offset and crossing once — a nod to the Arch that stops well short of putting a riverboat behind it.
